This is the frst blog for me, I have no idea how I got to this place, just followed the path the internet lead me to.
This blog will likely be reflections on the good I see in the world, the inspiration and the people who created it.
As an environmental manager who is transplanted from one continent to another, it is easy to fix on the negative, to romanticise Australia, and miss the good that is emerging here in Niagara.
Hence the title Ecopraise, for the quiet, the unassuming Canadian (or otherwise) who is making my world a better place, one step at a time. Well, hopefully.

Melissa, Keep up the blogging. It is so good to know there is another resident in this very un-environmental town that cares about the environment and sustainability. I get so frustrated with this town council who have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to keep the jet boats on the river! These boats are not only eroding the shores but burn millions of liters of diesel every season!! It is very discouraging.
